Have you ever driven down a road that you thought would never end? Were there obstacles in your way that hindered you from getting to where it was you wanted to go? That?€™s how it is to suffer from asthma. It?€™s a road that seems to go on forever and ever. The feelings of hopelessness, having such severe attacks that it leaves you clutching you?€™re chest and gasping for air, only to have your family scrambling to help, only to find out they have to watch you suffer without anything they can do to stop it.

Being a parent of a small child that has asthma is very hard to cope with. It has been said that children can recover from a severe asthma attack faster than an adult, especially when it is an exercise induced attack. But as a parent this did not leave me feeling better. As you may be aware Asthma is an inflammatory illness of the lungs causing you to wheeze, cough and have trouble breathing. Asthma used to be considered a very minimal threat in the past. Now days there is cause to be alarmed on how many of our children and adults are getting Asthma.

There has been a study on the possibility of environmentally caused illnesses and disorders in infants and small children. These studies are done to find out what types of environmental issues is the cause. Infants and children are vulnerable to illness and disease associated with environmental exposure to chemicals and toxins. Due to the fact that infants and young children?€™s respiratory systems and cognitive systems are still being developed, it makes the affects of pollution even greater than that of adults. We need to understand the link between environmental exposures and the development of childhood diseases and illnesses.

Exposures to these dangers can be a very real danger for our young children and infants who suffer from Asthma. These toxins can trigger intense asthma attacks and can even lead to an early death if immediate action is not taken. About 4,000 deaths occur from asthma each year in the U.S. alone. Asthma is the leading cause of childhood hospitalizations and is a major cause for children missing many school days. Drugs and inhalers can help control asthma to a point but cannot eliminate Asthma all together.

The road to recovery is a road that every person with Asthma needs to find. There are no maps, only theories and studies on how to overcome asthma symptoms. Your doctor can get you on the path to finding as much control over your disease as possible. If you are like me you worry about the side effects from long term usage of prescription drugs. I found out after I got my son off his inhaler that if he had stayed on this drug (Albuterol) it could possibly have take his ability to have children away. My doctor did not warn me of this when he was prescribing my son these drugs. We searched for a natural way to end his suffering and end the worry of side effects from the prolonged use of these harmful drugs. There is a road to recovery. Through the twisting turns of doctors and prescription drugs there is a road that leads you to a natural way to overcome Asthma, follow me.
