Blisters are fluid-filled pockets beneath the best bed of rind. There are many potential causes of blisters including a blow, disease, a hypersensitive response, or from your rind rubbing against something. Blisters caused by your rind rubbing against something are called clash blisters and almost usually happen on feet or hands. Foot blisters are a popular happening for many folk. Foot blisters are typically caused by shoes, socks, skates, or new footwear rubbing against the rind. There are many different causes of foot blisters. Some of the most common causes of foot blisters are heat, moisture and friction.

Other causes of foot blister include clash forces caused by improper shoes or socks, fungal infections of the rind, hypersensitive reactions or burns, and undue foot sweat. When the rind becomes annoyed, fluid collects underneath the outer bed of rind. This can be rather traumatic. The surrounding region may be crimson, tender, or bloated. Blisters can be really tiny or rather big. Some ways to forbid blisters are wearing shoes that equip decently. Socks are too significant in protecting your feet from blisters. Try and select socks that are not overly stiff and not overly lax. Avoid pipe socks, as these do not equip good enough to the foot.

Cotton socks should be avoided, as cotton absorbs moisture and tends to be rougher than other materials. Wearing wet shoes, boots and socks will increase your chance of developing blisters. Always use a sterilized needle to drain a blister. The needle should be sterilized by heating it with a flame until it is red hot and then allowed to cool. You can also sterilize a needle with rubbing alcohol. Use the needle to puncture the edge of the blister in several places. Make the punctures wide enough so they do not reseal. Cover the area with antibiotic ointment and a bandage. Use foot powder to help keep your feet dry.

Foot Blister Treatment and Prevention Tips

1. Use foot powder to help keep your feet dry.

2. Try and select socks that are not too tight and not too loose.

3. Avoid tube socks, as these do not fit close enough to the foot.

4. Try wearing two pairs of socks to ease friction against foot.

5. Long distance walkers often apply tincture of benzoin to the skin every day.

6. Softening the skin with a moisturizer is another way to avoid foot blisters.
